He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Kuenster; and his parents, Lyman Bassett and Dolores Bassett. He is survived by: his children, Elliot, Thomas and Steve Bassett; and his siblings, Larry Bassett and Wendy Bassett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory (1705 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Missoula Food Bank, or the Brain Injury Alliance of Montana.
