With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Anderson (Missoula, Montana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn left this world on January 25, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Carolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Butler and Winifred Butler; and her sister Beth Keel (McKinley Anderson). She is survived by: her husband Marshall Lee Whitehair; her siblings, Winnie Anne Nabors (John) and David Butler (Gail); and her children, Phillip Sutton, Stuart Whitehair (Leann Stadtlander), Karen Whitehair (Paul Silbermann) and Dr. Kristin Anderson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In keeping with her appreciation of education instilled by her parents, she chose to donate her remains to the Montana State WWAMI Program supporting the advancement of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
