She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Blakney and Evelyn Blakney; her husband Don; her daughters, Sherry (Jim), Laurie (David) and Christie; her grandchildren, Zane (Imogen), Blake, Alena, Jacqueline, Autumn and Madeline; and her great grandchild Bixby. She was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory (1705 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808). Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery (1911 Tower St, Missoula, MT 59804).
She volunteered with the American Heart Association and volunteered with St. Patrick Hospital for eight years.
