It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan John McCoy in Missoula, Montana, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sophie; his parents, John McCoy and Ethel McCoy; and his siblings, Robert, Phyllis Reynolds and Shirley Kontos.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Campbell (Anita) of Casper, WY, Scot Alan of Casper, WY and Laurel Ross (Scott) of Belgrade, MT.; his grandchildren, Christopher Tedford (Nadine), Ashley McCoy, Mackenzie McCoy, Chelsey Ross, Travis Ross, Logan McCoy and Joseph McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Tell and Romy Tedford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John C. McCoy Memorial Scholarship and/or the Lonepine Community Hall.
