She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Pieters and Mathilda Pieters (Derudder); her husband Ervin Evanson; her siblings, Lillian Green, Madeline Green, Evelyn Jewett, Bill Pieters, Betty Lapp and Bob Pieters; her daughter Lila; and her grandson Matthew.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Letke of Miles City, MT; her son-in-law Ray Markwald of Billings, MT; her grandchildren, Dan Biehl, David Biehl, Michael Biehl, Tom Letke (Sarah), Tim Letke (Vicki Regalado), Darcy Drown, Erik Evanson (Andrea), Andy Evanson (Amanda), Jenna McKenzie (Josh), Alex Evanson and Mickayla Shannon (Matt); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Pieters, Charlotte Meyer and Joanie Stenerson (Roger). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
God, family, friends, and country provided the foundation for their 69-year marriage until his passing in 2012.
