He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Henry and Jennie Lubbers (Oetman); his wife Berness; his daughter-in-law Arlene Lubbers; his siblings, Jerald Lubbers (Alida), Don Lubbers, Sarah Kouw (Harvey) and Shirley Buter (Ken); and his brothers-in-law, Art Bredeweg and Bill Moelker.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel, Michael (Sue) of Prairie Village, KS, Dan (Laurie) of Bozeman, MT and Sue Kimm (Martin) of Manhattan, MT; his sister Alma Bredeweg of Zeeland; and his sisters-in-law, Millie Lubbers of Holland and Muriel Moelker of Jenison. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
