She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Geers and Jennie Geers (DeVries); her husband Aldert Klompien; her sons, Mark Klompien (Valerie) of Idaho Falls, ID and Steve Klompien (Nicky) of Palmyra, MO; her sister-in-law Effie Klompien; and her grandchildren, Derek, Dalin, Teá, Joe, Sophie and Luke.
