She is survived by: her friend Katherine "Kathy" Louise Root; her spouse James Charles Root; her children, James Dean and Sherry; her son-in-law Tom Wulff; her granddaughter Kasey Pera (Charles); her great grandchild Luca; and her granddaughter Lexie. She is also survived by her parents; son, JD; and by three sisters and a baby brother.
