Though John Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Stephen and Verna Victoria Mest (Eckart); and his brother David Mest. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Mest of Manhattan; his children, Dagny Mest of Manhattan and Stephen Mest (Chris) of Helena; and his grandchildren, Luke, Maria and Gabe Mest.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the Manhattan Presbyterian Church (214 N Broadway St, Manhattan, MT 59741).
