She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm Nydam and Elizabeth Nydam (Kuikinga); her husband Leonard Dyk; her brother Dick Nydam; her daughter Sheila Wierda; her son-in-law Mal Shakra; and her grandson Bret Hoekema.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Leep (Eldon), Bev Hoekema (Ron) and Gil Dyk; and her son-in-law Wes Wierda.
