He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ballantyne and Mildred Ballantyne. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Tinder; his children, Chris Mest (Steve) of Helena and Brad Ballantyne (Shelley) of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Maria, Luke, Paige, Aubrey and Gabe; his brother-in-law Skip Tinder (Judy); and his nieces, Misti and Mandi. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.
