He is survived by: his former wife Mary Dolan; his children, Donald Thelen, Jr. (Christina), Robert Thelen of Bozeman, Montana, Mary Leonard (Denis) of Northern Ireland, Louise Uithoven (Paul) of Bozeman, Joan Brown (Tom) of Lubbock, Texas and Christine Hedegaard (Mike) of Northport, Alabama.; and his sisters, Catherine Birschbach (Franklin), Genevieve Stratz (Glen) of Fond and Lac. He is also survived by his children, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
