He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaas Flikkema and Tietje Flikkema (Huisman); and his wife Fran. He is survived by: his children, Dawn (Dave Hoekema), Kent (Shirley Flikkema), George (Rhonda Flikkema), Todd (Brenda Flikkema) and Jewel (Curt VanVoorst); his siblings, Joanne Kloosterhof, Menco Flikkema and Hans Flikkema; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Flikkema and Margaret Sinnema.
