He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Stolem (Sweetie) of Malta; his sons, Russell, Jr. Mattfeldt (Jeanine), Chad Mattfeldt (Robin) and Jay Mattfeldt; his grandchildren, Skye, Ammon, Zoey Lynn, Justina and Ezra; his great grandchildren, Ollie and Zander; and his brothers, Carl Mattfeldt (Marlys), Bill Mattfeldt, Vernon Mattfeldt and Brian Mattfeldt. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
