He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Zimmerman (Roy) and Pamela Before (Paul); his grandchildren, Rachel Shea (Aaron), Chase Zimmerman (Alana) and Nate Milne-Smith; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Thomas, Logan and Spencer Shea; his sister Patricia Hitchcock; and his sister-in-law Janet Slezak.
