He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Craig; his parents, John and Linna; and his siblings, Dorothea Mangis Hurlburt, Herb and Vern.
He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Mangis Johnson; his children, Sharon Kay Hansen (Ted), Mary Geraldine Mangis, Howard Kimball Mangis (Eva) and Michael William Mangis (Patricia); his daughter-in-law Mary Alice Mangis (Taylor); and his sibling Linna Mangis. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
