He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Bertha; his siblings, Anna (Ed Berdahl), Mabel (Roy Hockett), Glenn (Mary) and Albert Flansaas (Leona Kienitz); and his grandson Andrew Flansaas.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Gloria Salveson (Jerry) of Malta, Carol Lumsden (Pete) of Loring and Michael Flansaas (Brenda) of Juneau, AK; and his cousins, Anita Alexander of Glasgow and Lynn Verkler (Art) of Graham, WA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 22 great-grand-children.
