He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Bruckner (Johnson) and John Bruckner; his siblings, Raymond Bruckner, Harvey Bruckner, Loren Bruckner, Lee Bruckner, Lorraine Bruckner and Muriel Brewer; his son Dale Bruckner; and his grandson Danny Bruckner.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Bruckner (Long); his brother Evert Bruckner; his foster son John Dozier (Sally); his daughter-in-law Misty Bruckner; and his grandchildren, Bayleigh, Tavner, Darby, John Jr., Angie, Christy, Josh, Phillip, Brianna and Dallas.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Grace Fellowship to buy equipment for live streaming services.
