He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hanson and Lillian Hanson (Fortin); his parents-in-law, James and Cora Maxie; and his siblings, Betty Lou Hanson, Jerry Hanson (Alice), Barb Darrah (Bob), Joan Jacobson (Jack), Phyllis Simpson (Larry), Patsy Gilman (Leonard), Connie Hasler (Tom) and Bill Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, DeeDee Henderson (Dale) and Nikki Nessan (Mitch); his grandchildren, Sydney and Erica; his sons, Bill Hanson (Shanna), Kaleb, Dylan and Darin Hanson (Lynn); his grandchild Delaney; his son Kevin Hanson (Tereza); his granddaughters, Therese, Winifred and Ruby; and his siblings, Eugene Hanson (Linda), Rosie Russell and Greta Barnard (Norman). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Wilderness Funeral Homes (202 S 2nd St E, Malta, MT 59538). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (27 S 7th St W, Malta, MT 59538).
