It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Muriel Denesen of Livingston, Montana, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Denesen; and her daughter Janet Marshall. She is survived by: her children, James R. Denesen (Sandy) of Livingston, Diane Fay and Carol Phillips. She is also survived by grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Like many in her generation, she lived through some tough times including several wars, the Great Depression, more than one viral outbreak, (she survived Covid at age 99), the deaths of three of her four children, as well as the death of a grandson and a great-grandson.
