With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert E. Vandervort (Livingston, Montana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sloan Vandervort and Bernice Alice Burchett; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rae Adams; his children, Robert Vandervort (Shelly), LeRae Davis (Larry) and Chandra Willyerd (Jon); his grandchildren, Cole Vandervort (Erica), Rachel Vandervort, Haley Vandervort, Graci Vandervort, Jasmine Thompson (Truman), Holly Davis, Landon Willyerd (Kelcy) and Hillary Knight (Carson); his great grandchildren, Harlow Vandervort, Willa Thompson and Kase Knight; and his sisters, Betty Figgins, Jane Eggar, Lona Thompson and Sheila Kayser (Dennis). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (425 W Lewis St, Livingston, MT 59047). A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
