He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Molly Laverty and Eddie Laverty; his brother Belfast; his former wife Kathleen Carrol; his stepchildren, Nina, Shelagh and Gia; his wife Sheila (Cosacchi); his children, Sean Laverty (Kathleen) and Kathleen Bouvier (Jack); his sister Olive Morris; and his brother-in-law James Morris. He was also cherished by grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
