He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sandsness and Hughena Sandsness of Livingston; his sisters, Evelyn Forsythe (Pete) and Agnes Johnson (Armand); and his nieces, Lynda Woirhaye (Jake) and Melanie Aguilar (Manny).
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Garth; his grandchildren, Berg and Mallory; his son Greg Sandsness (Anne) of Bonney Lake, WA; his grandchildren, Gabrielle and Nicholas; and his sister Patricia Johnson (Bruce) of Ballantine, MT.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
