He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knox and Ethel Knox (Martinell); his wife Shirley Brown of Lima; his sisters, Marie, Bessie, Gertie, Alice and Anna Jean; his daughters, Judy, Karla and Polly Jo; and his son-in-law Dan Shively.
He is survived by: his children, Tana Shively of Cody, WY and Bill (Cathy) of Dillon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
