Halvorson; his son David Haines (Kathy); his grandchildren, Christopher and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Wyatt and Jackson; his son Steven Haines (Franchelle); his grandchildren, Makenna and Connor; his brother Charles (Charlene); his nephew Mark (Natalie); his niece Kari; his brothers, William and James (Cathy); his niece Tanyaa Kilham (Troy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessie and Lane; his nephew James; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dakota, Kelly and Dillan; his nephew Jeremy; his sister Betty Ann; his niece Jessie Redding (Pat); and also, Colter and Kavet.
Some of his many accomplishments throughout his lifetime include helping a group of hunters from Troy, MT create the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
