She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Thelma Smith; and her brother Samuel Smith. She is survived by: her significant other Eddy Dawson of Libby; and her children, Art Highland (Leonna, Oregon), Mike Highland of Eureka, Linda Vandeveer of Polson and Marlene Cassidy of Indiana. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
