He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Dinkins and Thomas Dinkins. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his brother Butch; his children, Kelly Bryant (Marvin), Bruce Engle (Teresa) and Bonnie Gronemyer (Russell); his grandchildren, Deborah, Randy Buckner, Kristi Gallagher (Mersadies), Zeke and Logan Engle; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Hunter and Fisher Buckner.
