He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eleanor, Evelyn, Emily, Ernie, Elmer, Everett and Elaine; and his grandsons, Danny and Christopher.
He is survived by: his spouse Hazel Helmer; his brother Edwin "Ned"; and his children, Vernon (Jo) of Libby, Carol of Libby, Douglas (Julie) of Libby and Bill (Marge) of Elko. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
