He was predeceased by: his sister Thelma; his granddaughters, Tara and Reah; and his great grandchild Odon. He is survived by: his wife Helen Johns of Priest River, Idaho.; his daughters, Dawn, Melanie, Robin, Kelly and Cheryl; and his brothers, Don, Leonard and Kim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages to donate to charity of your choice.
