He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dixon and Zella Dixon; his wife Carol; and his siblings, Betty and Jack.

He is survived by: his brother Joe; his sons, Mark, Mike and Steve (Laura); and his close friend Nancy Gab of Libby. He is also survived by five grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
