She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Holzhauser and Hedwig (Gottlieb); her husband Ray; and her sister Ingeborg. She is survived by: her children, Ray Poppenga, Jr. (Linda) and Carol Poppenga (Tom); her grandsons, Nathan Bourne (Andi) and Warden Bourne (Christa); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Bourne (Seeley Lake), Natalie Bourne (Great Falls) and Derek Bourne (Lewistown).
She liked crocheting, making many afghan bedspreads to give away to family, friends and charity.
