She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O. Girvin and Irene Girvin (Leamnson); her husband Gordon Petersen, Sr.; her sons, Gordon, Jr. and Mark; and her granddaughter Heather Petersen.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Petersen (Heidi) of Marysville, WA, Mary Ellen Apple (Bill) of Lewistown and Esther Distad (Gary) of Lewistown; her stepdaughter Kathy Sturn (Bernie) of Billings, MT; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Girvin of Lewistown, Lilly Girvin of Lewistown and Ron Claver of Pasco, WA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends are asked to make memorials to the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home.
