He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Firemoon Sr. and Ruby Talks Different; his grandparents, Ira Talks Different and Mary Talks Different (Big Beaver); and his siblings, Bernadette Firemoon, Debbie Snell, George Chub Snell Jr., Douglas "Duggan" Snell Sr., Melvin Firemoon, Clarence, Alvin, Bobby and Sherman Talks Different.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie and Jasmine Fire Moon of California; his siblings, Virginia Cochran, Mary Ellen Snell, Margaret, Arleata Snell of Pawhuska, OK, Judy Shields (Ken), Veronica Shields (Julien) of Wolf Point, MT., Ted Snell Sr. of Fort Totten, ND and Mike Talks Different of Harlem; his aunt Irene Doney of Hay, MT.; his nieces and nephews, Judy Ball, Bonita Ball, Matt Ball of Fort Belknap and Douglas Ball of Arvada; his aunts and uncles, Louise Wing, Lily Fox, Lyle and Wesley Firemoon; and his nieces and nephews, Martha Ball, Barbara Ann Gardipee, Michael Ball, Douglas Snell Jr., Joseph and Harlan Snell. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
