He was predeceased by: his father John William Odom, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Boehm; his children, Jamie, Jessica, Johnnie Lee and John; his mother Mavy Ingraham; his stepfather Marvin Ingraham of Laurel, MT; his siblings, Tom Odom (Karen) and Tammey Mauch; and his stepsisters, Paula Adams (Randy), Lisa Sticka (Marvin), Jackie Penniger (Harlen) and Nicole Odonnal of Billings. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
