It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan (Leach) Van Kuiken (Lewistown, Montana), who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph P. Leach and Agnes E. Leach (Smail); her husband Jack Van Kuiken; her children, Bonnie Ostertag (Bob) of Stanford, MT, Samson of Stanford, MT and Darvin Van Kuiken (Susan) of Laurel, MT; her grandchildren, Kristi Mauws, Jessica McNeff, Jay Van Kuiken, Joni Nicholls, Justin Samson, Tyler Bragg, Shelby Van Kuiken, Stevie Van Kuiken, Shania Van Kuiken and Koltar Van Kuiken; her brothers, Gene and Gale; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Leach and Alice Worrall. She was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are asked to make memorials to the Fergus County Council on Aging Meals on Wheels, the Lewistown Fire & Rescue First Responder Program or the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home.
