James Kurz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Kurz (Lewistown, Montana), who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Kurz to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Kurz and Annette Kurz (Brekke); his wife Janet Thompson; his children, Nathan Kurz (Emily Cooper) of Readsboro, Vermont and Polly Kurz of Saint Ann, Missouri; his former wife Janet Kurz (Thompson) of Ladysmith; and his brothers, Jordan of Minnesota and Jon. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Most recently Jim spearheaded the Library Foundation's effort to install solar power arrays at the Rusk County Community Library, the first public building in Ladysmith to have solar power.
