He is survived by: his children, Dann Sims (Carol), Kimberly Tarplee (Leo), Jason Barisich (Eric) and Justin Barisich (Sue); his grandchildren, Keith Sims, Kelsey Phipps, Korbey Sparling, Kelley Jo Sims, Timothy Tarplee and Logan Bentley; his nephews, Dennis, John and Russell McKnire; and his niece Arlene Kordick.
