He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Machler and Mary Machler; his wife Teri; and his brother-in-law Pat Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Bo and Vince; his siblings, Kathie Anderson of Casper and Toby Machler (Linda) of Scottsdale; his children, Cody Machler (Christina) of Long Beach, Sam Machler (Melissa) of Phoenix and Taylor Machler (Justin Hutchinson) of Billings; and his stepsons, Bo Bride of Seattle and Vince Bride (Trina) of Missoula.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given, or better yet time be devoted, in Hal's name to the local community non-profit organizations he supported throughout his life.
