It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Nette of Lewistown, Montana, born in Many, Louisiana, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise Doris Hines; his daughters, Paulette Greyn and Penny Nette; his grandson Shawn Smith; and his brother-in-law George "Winky" Hines.
He is survived by: his father Jimmie Paul; his children, Marcia Smith (Roger), Sandra Westhoff (Dean), Cynthia Karhi (Jim), Denise Jennings (Chris), Lisa Charbonneau (Carl) and Jim Nette (Debbie); his son-in-law Keith Greyn; his sister-in-law Surena Hines; his niece Valarie Meredith (Jason); his grandchildren, Raymond Killham (Keri), Jeff Smith (Jenna), Carra Greyn (Sam), Megan Greyn, Jesse Nette, Cory Nette, Jordan Westhoff, Dillon Westhoff, Nicole Karhi (Kyle), Alysann Karhi, Christian Karhi, Ryan Jennings (Charrisse), Chase Jennings (Toree), Brandon Rau (Tanya) and Bryant Rau; and his great grandchildren, Emily Killham, Logan Killham, Kai Smith, Ezra Smith, Lucca Smith, Landon Greyn, Torin Jennings and Rhett Jennings. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
