We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 80, Gary W. Heilig (Lewistown, Montana), born in Havre, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon V. Heilig and Montana McDonald Heilig; his brothers, Lavern (Ann) and Kenneth (Phylis); and his nephews, Jess Hutton and Nathan Heilig.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Julie Ann (Doug), Gary Wallace Heilig Jr. (Erin) and Boyd James Heilig; his grandson Alex Stout (Megan); his great grandchildren, Macy Jeanette and Henry Jennings; his grandchild Leslie Miller (Chris Dooley); his great grandchildren, Wyatt John and Halle Grace; his granddaughters, Laura Anne Stout and Hailey Renee Kennedy (Devon); his great grandchildren, Kali Rose and Ella Lynn; his grandchildren, Hayden James Heilig (Kylie Schott) and Stephanie Swindle (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Harper Erin and Finnley Gabriel; and his siblings, Richard Heilig, David Heilig, Tana Truscott, Amy Hutton and Laurie Blackmare.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any remembrances be made to St. Mathias Church in Moore or to the Moore Public Library.
