He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Walter and Susanna Walter (Hofer); and his siblings, Jake, Joe, George, Paul, Eli, Dora and Anna.
He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Stahl of Ayers Colony; his children, Tim Walter (Susan), Steve Walter (Esther), Ken Walter (Pam) of Helena, MT and Anna Hofer (John) of King Colony, MT; and his sisters-in-law, Kate, Rachel and Kathryn. He is also survived by grandchildren.
During these trying and unforeseen circumstances the family strongly encourages everyone to wear a mask and maintain adequate social distancing if you are planning to attend.
Friends are asked to make memorials to the charity of their choice and they may be left with the Cloyd Funeral Home.
