With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathie Virginia Hartford (Lewistown, Montana), born in Great Falls, Montana, who passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Strunk and Virginia Strunk (Cheney); her stepmother Esther Strunk; her brother Richard Strunk; and her grandson Kelly VanderVen.
She is survived by: her son Tim of Lewistown; her husband Tom Hartford; her daughters, Carla VanderVen of Port Townsend, Washington and Barb Arey of Sanford, Florida.; and her grandchildren, Rob Hartford (Joni), Ryan Hartford (Bandy) of Lewistown, Ashley Swopes (Oren) of Big Timber, Collin Hartford (Cassidy) of Missoula, Nathan VanderVen (Nettie) of Port Townsend, Larissa Arey of Daytona and Corey Hartford. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
