It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty (Waits) Housel Montgomery (Lewistown, Montana), who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha LaFountain Waits and Lyle Ervin Waits; her former husband Pat; her husband John; her children, Jerry, Peggy and Dixie; and her siblings, Billy, Ervin, Doris and Patty.
She is survived by: her children, Mike of Sunburst, MT, Trish and Toni (Tom) of Lewistown, MT; and her siblings, Richard (Sherry) of Garabaldi, OR, Peggy of Lewistown, MT and Bobbie (Ted) of Sherwood, OR. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Rite of Committal will be Saturday, May 2nd, 1:00 p. m. (limited guests/social distancing) at the Sweet Grass Cemetery where Betty will be laid to rest with her family. (A celebration of life will be planned in the future with special care around COVID-19 safety and restrictions.).
