With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alan Shammel (Lewistown, Montana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alan left this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Shammel and Betty Shammel; his daughter Tracy; and his grandchild Avalynn. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Condotta; his children, Erin, Jon Baker of Pittsboro, NC, Lyle, Mariah Shammel of Hilger, MT, Heidi and Chris Fritz of Kalispell, MT; and his grandchildren, Colter, Lizzie, Ben, Cora Shammel of Hilger, MT, Lance and Marty Fritz of Kalispell, MT. He is also survived by his four siblings, many nieces and nephews, and so many special friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (215 5th Ave S, Lewistown, MT 59457).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hilger Rural Fire District (PO Box 801, Hilger, MT 59451) to continue bettering the community.
