He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller Boe and Esther Boe (Algard); his siblings, Sid Boe and Myrna Anderson; his nephew Sid Wilken; and his friend Bobby Feiock.

He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Watson; his stepchildren, Kelly Becktold (Watson), Lea Larson (Watson), Gerald Watson Jr. and Teresa Baker (Watson); and his sister-in-law Lois Boe (Sid). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends.

If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to the Lavina Volunteer Fire Department, Dean Creek Volunteer Fire Department or the Golden Girls of Lavina (Easter Egg Hunt fund).
