She was predeceased by: her sibling Marilyn; and her grandson Zachary Kallem. She is survived by: her spouses, Gary Kallem and Doug; her children, Kevin Kallem, Kari Johnson (Terry) and Ken Kallem (Christine); her grandchildren, Nick Kallem, Rebecca Kallem, Eric, Steven, BrookeLynn Grider, Brandon Kallem and Ryan Kallem; and her great grandchild Hayden Kallem.
Melva finally succumbed to Alzheimer's Disease on June 4, 2018.
