He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Long and Myrtle Long; and his brother Edward Long. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Joan Toillion; his grandchildren, Jennica Hammond, Jillian Hammond and Lindy Hammond; and his great grandchild Claire Hammond of Billings. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to the Laurel American Legion Post 123, Special K Ranch, Friends of the Yellowstone National Cemetery, or a charity of one's.
