He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Ahrens and Margaret Ahrens; his brother Bruce; his wife Nancy; his children, Jason Ahrens and Kalyn Ahrens; his granddaughters, Madisyn Ahrens, Arianna Ahrens and Alora Torno; his stepchildren, Sam (Kristin), Adam (Kim) and Pauline; his grandchildren, Logan, Kaela, Jenna and Rome; his friend Jim Westlund (Jesus); and his former wife Connie Pace.
Dale was a member of many boards including STEP, Arbor Day Foundation, SOW Ministries and numerous others.
