He is survived by: his wife Shawn Christiaens (Burney); his children, Kate Savage (Brian) of Nampa and Angie Christiaens of Superior, MT; his significant other Bradley Armour; his grandson Luke Savage; his siblings, Donna Ellsworth (Jeff), Jean King (Roy), Beverly Wilson (Russell), Juanita Meeks (Landis), Janet Stokes (Johnny), Becky Rathbun (Todd), Ken Christiaens (Judy), Rod Christiaens (Jackie), Dean Christiaens (Ann) and Kurt Christiaens (Tassie); and his siblings-in-law, Sheryl Cook (Burney) and Steve Burney.
