She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Morgan and Harley Morgan; her brother Richard Morgan; and her sons, Larry Foster and Daniel Foster.
She is survived by: her husband Derril Dern of Kalispell; and her daughters, Kim Hughes of Joliet and Gena Foster Grinestaff of Billings. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
